Presiding Bishop Sean Rowe to Preach at Conference Eucharist
NAES is pleased to welcome the Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe, Presiding Bishop and Primate of The Episcopal Church who will preach at the conference Eucharist. The Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe was elected presiding bishop and primate of The Episcopal Church in June 2024 and took office on Nov. 1 for a nine-year term. Known for his expertise in organizational learning and adaptive change, Rowe is committed to strengthening support for local ministry and mission.

NAES Welcomes Lutheran Educators
After a successful collaboration at Biennial Conference 2024, NAES welcomes members of the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association (ELEA) to Biennial Conference 2026. Lutheran educators looking to broaden their academic horizons and foster Christian fellowship will find much to gain from joining their Episcopal colleagues in Los Angeles. Exchange best practices with colleagues from a different Protestant tradition, and explore how the educational philosophy of Episcopal schools might unveil complementary approaches to faith-based education and enrich Lutheran schools.

Dr. Lisa Miller to Offer Biennial Conference 2026 Keynote Address
Lisa Miller, Ph.D., is the New York Times bestselling author of The Spiritual Child and a professor in the Clinical Psychology Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She is the Founder and Director of the Spirituality Mind Body Institute, the first Ivy League graduate program and research institute in spirituality and psychology, and has held over a decade of joint appointments in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical School.
